After 3.5 years my brother graduated from NYU Stern Business...

After 3.5 years my brother graduated from NYU Stern Business School, setting the bar really, really high for me and my younger brother. Honestly, I’m so proud to be his little sister. I’ve learned so much from him and all of his amazing successes. I love them both very, very much.

I was soaking up some sun in central park when I saw this couple struggling to take a picture together on their cell phone. They asked a passing girl to take it for them, but unsatisfied with it, they continued to try on their own.

I scooted over to them and asked if they’d like some help. Happily, they passed me their old flip phone, explained how to take the picture, and posed. They explained to me that they were trying to take a good photo for their wedding invitations. I was taken aback.

Instantly I gave them back their phone and walked over to get my camera. I told them I’d give them a little photo-shoot with my camera and email them the pictures that night.

The looks on their faces are the reason I love photography so much. The adorable couple thanked me countless times and gave me hugs before saying goodbye. That night when I emailed them the photos, they wrote me the nicest email response and invited me to their wedding.

My happiness in life always comes from moments like this.
